Well I think it's pretty self explanatory. Prefer pens? pencils? like to ink? computer? photoshop? Gimp? paint pro?
I'm sure you get the idea.

I mainly use Photoshop CS2 (I'm using CS3 beta right now).
I also like to use musical instruments. I actually pulled out pen and pencil and paper but that ended terribly. got to used to the computer. Anyone part of a site like Deviantart?

Interesting Tofu.

I've done some 3d work myself, using Wings 3D, but I'm considering buying another one, as Wings isn't optimal for organic modelling.

Any suggestions for a cheap, organic modeller?

I couldn't help you ati. I forgot to mention that I am starting to try to use blender though.

Ah yes, blender...

A powerful tool, doubtless; but the user-interface seems to have been designed by a retarded chimpanzee.

I agree with you on that ati. I've been at it on and off for about three days. still not sure i get it.

I spent a couple of weeks on it before giving up in disgust and moving to Wings.

we have 3dsmax, but according to you ati, it wont work with DBP. also, i doubt as to the legality of it, and you'd probably have one hell of a hard time installing it
- 17 February, 2007
Ati says

Actually, 3ds max will export to models that work with DBPro, its just the default file format that won't.

What exactly are your doubts to the legality?

Wings looks pretty robust actually. Milkshape is decent too and free I believe. A lot of building objects is really not so much the tool but the technique. If you look at how other people build things it gives you a pretty good insight into how you can build similar things. Other than that it's just practice. Years of gruling practice. I suggest getting a student version of modo, mudbox, 3Ds Max or Maya.

The one problem with wings is that iw areally wasn't intended as an organic modeller.

You can use it as such, but its not easy. Its like using a steak knife instead of a comb.
